Only one city in the world can call themselves the Hardware city, and that is New Britain, CT. From the days it was founded to today, the city has been an ever changing, ever growing melting pot of Americana. FRom Stanely Works, to Central Connecticut State University, to the Golden Hurricane Marching Band and Hurricane Football Team, the city and its residents have become a well known factor in American History.

About me, the Author
My name is Michael Bertolini, I was born in New Britain on June 15, 1984 and lived in town with my family until July 2003 when I moved to Kensington. I attend Central Connecticut State University, located in north eastern New Britain and I have a strong love for my place of birth (which is exactly why I am doing this)
I am a history bs-ed major, currently in my 2nd year. My major focus of study is ancient European history; however, history is all around us, and the history of our own past is the most important history of all.
